Welcome to Dairy Way, a true Black River Falls tradition serving smiles and sweet treats since 1965. For generations, our little ice cream stand has been a go-to gathering place—where classic cones, creamy shakes, rich malts, and old-fashioned sundaes are made fresh to order and always served with a smile.

Dairy Way’s story is deeply personal. Long before becoming the owner, Paula Bailey first walked through these doors as a teenager, working behind the counter and discovering a love for serving people and being part of the community. What started as a summer job quickly became something more—a place that felt like home. Years later, Paula had the opportunity to purchase Dairy Way herself, and she proudly did so, determined to preserve the stand’s old-school charm and keep its legacy alive for future generations.

Today, Dairy Way remains everything it’s always been: an old-fashioned, nostalgic ice cream stand where friendly service still matters and quality comes first. In addition to our famous ice cream treats, guests can enjoy juicy burgers, crispy fries, hand-spun malts, and flavorful sundaes—making Dairy Way a favorite stop for families, friends, and travelers alike.
